Hair treatment & repair choices

Compare moisture care, bond care, gloss and extension maintenance by what is actually included.

10 questions · Menu details and practical consultation notes

Prices follow the confirmed menu. Unspecified steps or fees are marked for confirmation. General care and safety information does not replace a hair assessment or medical advice.

01What is the S$98 Mucota Express Shine Care?

It is the menu’s express shine-and-softness care at S$98 for all lengths. It is different from the three-step service. Ask which product and steps will be used; the express price is not an automatic bond-treatment or straightening package.

02How is Mucota 3-Step Repair different?

The menu positions the three-step option for dry, rough lengths and tangled ends, at S$180 / S$280 / S$380 by length. It is a separate multi-step service, not simply a longer appointment promised to repair every type of damage.

03Should I choose moisture care or bond repair?

Describe the problem first: roughness, tangling, recent chemical work or breakage. The menu lists Bond Repair at S$180 / S$280 / S$380, but does not specify a universal product formula. Confirm the actual product and realistic aim rather than buying by the word “bond”.

04Why is Intensive Protein Repair S$680?

The menu places it in intensive care for very dry, chemically treated hair. Before choosing, request the product name, treatment stages, included care and realistic limits. The price alone is not proof of permanent repair or that more bleaching is now safe.

05How does Agana Gloss Smooth differ from Soft Cloud?

Agana Gloss Smooth is listed at S$480 for gloss and a smoother-looking finish. Soft Cloud is listed as anti-frizz with natural movement at length-based prices. Confirm actual products, processing and desired finish before selecting; similar descriptions do not establish identical treatments.

06Does Extension Maintenance Care include removal and reattachment?

It is listed for softness and tangling aftercare, not as a removal-and-refit bundle. Ask to itemise any dismantling, new attachments or replacement hair. Keeping these separate makes it easier to compare a routine care visit with a technical maintenance appointment.

07Can treatment permanently fix split ends or severely broken hair?

Cosmetic care may improve feel and appearance, but should not be sold as making damaged lengths permanently new. Discuss realistic limits, maintenance and whether some trimming is appropriate. Avoid buying a package based only on a “100% repair” promise.

08Will a conditioning treatment straighten my hair?

Do not assume that every treatment changes curl. Ask whether the selected service is conditioning, heat-assisted smoothing or a chemical shape change. Be explicit if you want to preserve your current curl; choose by process and goal rather than by the word “treatment”.

09What home care should I use after a salon treatment?

Ask for a simple routine matched to your scalp, lengths and any attachments. Keep rinse-out and leave-in products separate and use each as labelled. Request product compatibility before combining several treatments, instead of assuming more products always work better.

10Do I need treatment every month?

There is no single compulsory schedule for every head. Discuss how your hair feels between visits, your chemical-service plan and what home care can do. Ask for review timing and individual prices before committing to repeated appointments.

External references explain general concepts; they do not imply that 3AM uses every product from those brands or is endorsed by those organisations. Confirm the salon service, scope and total before proceeding.
