Frizz, smoothing & Soft Cloud
Compare anti-frizz care with straightening and clarify the finish before choosing a service.
Prices follow the confirmed menu. Unspecified steps or fees are marked for confirmation. General care and safety information does not replace a hair assessment or medical advice.
01What can I discuss for frizzy hair in Singapore?
Separate surface frizz, dryness and a curl pattern you want to change. At 3AM, bring a photo of how your hair looks after normal drying, not only a salon blowout. Compare Soft Cloud, conditioning care and other options against the finish you actually want.
02Is Soft Cloud a rebonding service?
The 3AM menu positions Soft Cloud as anti-frizz smoothing with natural movement, not rebonding. Say clearly whether you want to keep a wave or want a straight result. The service name should not be taken as a promise of both finishes at once.
03How much is Soft Cloud at 3AM?
The current menu lists S$180 / S$280 / S$380 for short / medium / long hair. The Colour + Soft Cloud package is S$688; confirm its colour brand and service scope before booking. Do not apply a separate promotion’s terms automatically to this regular menu.
04Can I reduce frizz but keep my natural waves?
That is a useful goal to bring to the consultation. Show how much wave you want to retain and what you consider too flat. Ask for an assessment of your current texture and service history; the degree of curl retention is not guaranteed from a name or reference alone.
05Can bleached hair have Soft Cloud or smoothing?
It needs assessment, especially if the lengths have had several chemical services. Send the full history and a current photo. Do not assume that adding treatment makes every bleached head suitable for heat or chemical smoothing.
06How long does a smoothing result last?
The current menu does not guarantee one duration for every service and hair type. Ask about the expected finish, washing routine and review timing for the exact product used. A temporary blow-dried finish and a longer-lasting smoothing service should be explained separately.
07Are keratin, protein, hair botox and smoothing the same thing?
Not necessarily. Marketing names do not identify the full formulation or process. Ask for the actual product, whether heat is used, whether curl is changed and what aftercare is required. These search terms are comparison questions, not a claim that 3AM offers every named treatment.
08Does “no smell” or “formaldehyde-free” mean a treatment is safe for everyone?
No. Ask to see product information and instructions; absence of smell is not a safety test. FDA guidance recommends checking smoothing-product ingredients. The name Soft Cloud alone is not evidence of a specific ingredient certification or universal suitability.

09Can I colour and smooth my hair in the same appointment?
The menu has a S$688 Colour + Soft Cloud package, but suitability and sequence still need assessment. Confirm the colour product, any lightening and the smoothing process. A package is not an instruction to combine incompatible services on damaged hair.
10Will smoothing make fine hair look flatter?
Tell us whether your main concern is frizz or lack of root volume. Bring a normal-day photo and point out the parts you want to keep full. Discuss the finish and areas treated before choosing; smoothing and root-volume work have different goals.
External references explain general concepts; they do not imply that 3AM uses every product from those brands or is endorsed by those organisations. Confirm the salon service, scope and total before proceeding.
